Ultrawide display
Think in 5K2K.
5120 pixels across, like two QHD screens side by side, and 2160 pixels tall, the full height of 4K. That is 11 million pixels on one 40-inch, 21:9 IPS panel, so a timeline, a codebase or a spreadsheet gets more rows and more columns at once, with no bezel down the middle.

One screen, every job
Work. Create. Play.
5120 × 2160 means you stop arranging windows and start using them. Here is what that looks like on one 40-inch curve.
-
Work. Two full-size documents and a spreadsheet, side by side, each with the full 2160-pixel height. That is three QHD screens’ worth of pixels, with no bezel down the middle.
-
Create. See the viewer, the media and the inspector at once. The IPS panel covers 100% sRGB and 96% DCI-P3.
-
Play. In games that support 21:9, the scene runs wider than on a 16:9 screen. The panel refreshes at up to 75 Hz, with Adaptive-Sync and a 1 ms MPRT response time.
Connectivity

charges your laptop.
Charge your laptop at up to 90 W over USB‑C. DisplayPort 1.4 and HDMI 2.0 carry the picture from a laptop, a desktop or a console, and a USB hub keeps your keyboard and mouse on the monitor.

No. 5K2K is 5120 × 2160. It has the same 2160-pixel height as 4K UHD (3840 × 2160), with 1280 more pixels across: a third more pixels in all, on a 21:9 screen.
-
It has the pixel width of two QHD screens (2 × 2560) and the pixel height of 4K, on one 40-inch panel with no bezel down the middle.
Your computer sees one display, so two full-size windows sit side by side.
-
Plan for 37.3 inches of width. The desk planner above draws the monitor to scale, from the top, against the width of your desk.
-
A computer with DisplayPort 1.4 or HDMI 2.0. For the full 5120 × 2160 at 75 Hz, check that your graphics card supports that resolution and refresh rate.
On the back: one DisplayPort 1.4, one HDMI 2.0, one USB-C (up to 90 W charging), one USB-B and two USB-A 2.0 ports, and an audio output.
-
Yes, if your laptop charges over USB-C: up to 90 W from one cable.
A laptop that draws more than 90 W at full load may charge slowly, so keep its own charger handy for heavy work.
